Local Rules

USGA Rules govern play. A local rules sheet will be available on the 1st tee.

Dress Code

Collared shirts required.

Shoes with metal spikes are not permitted.

General

Cellular telephones may only be used in automobiles.

Artificial measuring devices will not be permitted. Penalty will be disqualification. Pace of play will be monitored and slow play penalties will be assessed.

Practice Rounds

The course will be available for practice rounds Tuesday May 6th & Wednesday May 7th after 3:00pm. Please check-in with starter. Only one round per competitor.

Practice Range

The practice range will be open each day at 7:00 AM but may not be used by competitors following their rounds. Range balls are complimentary.

Food Service

Complimentary continental breakfast and buffet lunch will be provided to competitors on Thursday May 8^th.

Senior Division

"S" on the pairing sheet denotes a player in the senior division.

Carts/Caddies

Caddies: Please do not bring your own caddie as the Club will provide caddies to competitors. Caddie fee is $60 per bag.

Carts: Available only for players in the senior division.

Pairings/Withdrawals

Match play pairings and starting times for Friday will be available by calling the pro shop at 631-665-1710 ext_232 or online at www.southwardho.com.

If you must withdraw kindly notify the golf shop at 631-665-1710 ext 232.

Plav-off

Championship flight: ties for the 16th spot will be decided by a sudden death play-off immediately following the conclusion of the qualifying rounds.

Senior flight: ties for the 8th spot will be decided by a match of cards.
